19/06/2011: Djibril Cisse on the verge of moving to Lazio
email print
Earlier today, Lazio's transfer brain Igli Tare told the media that Djibril Cisse was a player who had all the characteristics Lazio were looking for in astriker. Corriere dello Sport state in very definite terms that Djibril Cisse is the striker we are looking for.

Apparently a meeting was held in France on Friday where progress was made between Tare and Cisse's agent. Tomorrow, another meeting shall take place where a deal could be all but finalised.

The economic details of these meetings remain a mystery but constant reports from Greece suggest we are looking at a sum somewhere in the region of six million euro to acquire the Panathanaikos hitman with a further two million euro salary to be added.

Cisse has an impressive scoring record for his Greek club and appears to have overcome the injuries that blighted his early career. Should he come to Lazio, it is almost guaranteed that Floccari will be loaned to Parma to accomodate him.
