Reports emerging from la Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that a deal has been reached between Lazio and Juventus for defender Lichtsteiner.

The Swiss full-back has been the cause of much speculation since he admitted he would like to move to a bigger team. His current contract includes a buy-out clause for 12 million Euros. Juventus and Manchester City have been tracking the defender for some weeks.

It appears, according to la Gazzetta dello Sport, that last night a deal was struck between Marotta and Lotito at a league meeting and Lichtsteiner should sign a four year contract with Juventus.

There are no details yet of the value agreed, however it was known that Lotito was unlikely to settle for anything under 10 million Euros.
