Parma General Manager, Pietro Leonardi, spoke to Radio Mana Mana and did not hide his admiration for the Lazio striker but admitted it would be difficult to bring the player to Parma.
"Everyone involved seems to be willing to work on the transfer, but we have not had talks in depth. We like Floccari, he is a very good player, but still, he is a Lazio player for now."
The reports circulating about this subject are intensifying and Leonardi is aware:
"Yes I read the reports everyday, but we have not yet spoken with Lazio. Yes we met with his agent but we discussed him and other players too. We have to be patient as we don't have a game on Sunday, so we are not in a hurry. Floccari is expensive, and the deal could turn out to be complicated. I don't want to deceive our fans, the situation up until now is difficult."
Asked about the reports indicating a loan for Floccari with right of redemption, Leonardi said:
"This has not been discussed with Parma. I know Floccari might have received some offers, but not from us until now."
