According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is complaining to CONI about the issuing of free tickets. The olympic authority, who have been at war with Lotito all summer are now reigniting the debate.

The war had come about over renting the Stadio Olimpico with CONI ignoring the financial troubles in Italy at present, demanding that clubs adhere to existing agreements.

Gianni Petrucci, the head of CONI is now quoted as saying that CONI are no longer welcome in the Olimpico, the stadium which they actually own and he has chosen to remind Lotito that he has yet to pay in full for the use of the stadium this season.

Interestingly, CONI have sent an anti-doping team into Auronzo this morning to test the players for performance-enhancing drug use.
