Miroslav Klose once again impressed with a first half hattrick in Lazio's 8-0 win over Venetians Pievigina.

The German bomber started upfront alongside Rocchi, in a 4-3-1-2 formation, and had bagged three goals by half time. Brocchi, Hernanes and Biava also scored in the first half to give Lazio a 6-0 lead at the break.

Zarate and Sculli replaced the strikers for the second half and scored a goal each before a host of changes throughout the squad brought he game to a close.

First Half: Bizzarri; Konko, Biava, Stendardo, Radu; Brocchi, Ledesma, Mauri; Hernanes; Klose, Rocchi.

Second Half: Bizzarri (60' Berardi); Konko (60' Scaloni), Biava (60' Diakitè), Stankevicius, Radu (60' Garrido); Brocchi (60' Bresciano), Ledesma (60' Matuzalem), Mauri (60' Lulic); Hernanes (60' Floccari); Sculli, Zarate.

Scorers: 8',14', 31' Klose, 19' Brocchi, 24' Hernanes, 41' Biava, 8' st Zarate, 10' st Sculli.
