Lazio will enter the competition with 16 teams remaining, after being among the top eight teams before the draw was completed. Juventus, Napoli, Palermo, Milan, Lazio, Udinese, Inter and Roma are the top eight teams in the competition, which includes a total of 78 teams.
The Tim Cup kicks-off on the 7th of August with the lowest ranked teams facing each other, and the preliminary dates that follow are August 14, August 21, November 24 and 29 (home and away) and with Lazio entering the competition December 8th or 13th, with the return leg on the 11th of January 2012.
The highest ranked team Lazio could face in the first game of the team would be Parma, with Milan waiting in the quarter finals if Lazio and Milan were both to advance. Worth noting for Lazio fans is that a possible Coppa-derby could take place in the semi finals.
