  02/08/2011: Lotito fined for case against CONI

Claudio Lotito has been fined a total of 80,000 euros for his declarations in the press against CONI.

The statement of the judge explained the fine due to "expressing opinions and prejudicial remarks against the president of CONI and managers which affected the reputation and the prestige of the organization."

The fine was divided as 30,000 euros to Lotito himself while 50,000 euros was fined to the club.
