  07/08/2011: Iannarilli joins Salerno Calcio

Antony Iannarilli is set to join Salerno Calcio. The club, now run by Lazio President Claudio Lotito's in-laws are being heavily supported by Lazio and the latest recruit for them is Lazio goalkeeper Antony Iannarilli.

Eyebrows were raised when Lazio redeemed a 50% stake in the goalkeeper that they formerly sold to Isola Liri, where the French-Italian made himself a regular with decent displays. Injuries have hindered his development, which has perhaps factored in the decision to promote Alessandro Berardi to the first team instead. Now Iannarilli will get another chance to prove himself at Salerno Calcio.

Iannarilli has said on Facebook this morning:

"The wait is over. Finally, we start this new adventure."

It is to be expected that more Lazio youngsters will join the Serie D club before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
