  24/08/2011: Zarate: I want to stay, but it is impossible

"It is not true I want to go away, but in these conditions it is impossible to stay. My future? It all depends on president Lotito. I have no problems with my team mates" - the striker is quoted by www.corrieredellosport.it. The statement comes a day after his coach at Lazio, Edy Reja, blamed Zarate of being unprofessional. Today the number 10 explained the situation at a conference at hotel Parco dei Principi and denied the words of Reja, that he wants to leave.

Today Edy Reja took 20 players to Macedonia for the return leg of Europe League. Zarate, as expected, was not in the group. The game is on the 25th of August.

Goalkeepers: Berardi, Bizzarri, Marchetti;
Defenders: Biava, Diakitè, Dias, Lulic, Crescenzi, Radu, Scaloni, Zauri;
Midfielders: Zampa, Cana, Hernanes, Ledesma, Matuzalem, Mauri, Ceccarelli;
Forwards: Kozak, Rocchi.
