04/09/2011: Konko set to return from injury

New signing Abdoulay Konko will return to action in the game against Milan next Friday. The 27 year old was signed as a replacement for the departed Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, but has suffered from injuries in this pre-season.

Konko had problems with his calf which prevented him from playing in Europa League games against Rabotnicki and he only featured at the camp in Auronzo. However, the Frenchman has been training with the team for a couple of weeks now and is ready to take the field against Milan. His return will be a huge boost for Edy Reja's men as another right-back, Marius Stankevičius, has suffered from injuries as well.
