Edy Reja spoke to Sky Sports after the thrilling encounter with Milan and explained how pleased he is with his Lazio.

"We played very well against Milan, I asked the players to play without fear and show their worth, and that is what they did. We went 2-0 up and we had two deadly chances to score a third. Then we had a small dip, some things went wrong, especially in Cassano's goal. In the second half we went a little back but still fought well and we managed to return with a point from San Siro. It is a deserved result, we fought well, we showed determination." said a satisfied Reja.

Then Reja commented on his attackers, stressing that Lazio is playing attacking football: "With Klose and Cisse, we will do well. Ledesma and Brocchi will do us good in holding the ball in midfield, and with the sacrifices of Hernanes, it can only get better. We decided to attack Milan and play without fear, we already knew that we could get in trouble by following this approach but we wanted to make sure we make use of the space left to us by our opponents."

Reja was asked about where he sees his Lazio this season: "This is the first game, it is too early to tell, but when you come to play the champions of Italy in their home ground, and get back with a point and playing like we did, it shows that we will be in the top part of the rankings. The game today increased our confidence."
