Lazio today has recieved some bad news as the injury of midfielder Stefano Mauri is more serious than first thought.

"I pulled a thigh while kicking a ball", said the player himself. Early reports say that Mauri will miss a month of action and is a major doubt for the derby match against Roma on October 16.

The 31 year-old will now visit a medical center in Asiago, where he will undergo some specific treatment to make sure that he returns to the action as soon as possible.
