25/09/2011: Mauri could return for the derby

Some good news is coming from the Lazio camp. Stefano Mauri could make his return for the derby on the 16th of October. Monday will be critical for the midfielder as he will undergo an exam in the Paideia clinic. Mauri already did some dribbling at Formello, which clearly satisfied Reja. “I’m working a lot between the gym and pool. I can’t wait to return and help my teammates” – said the midfielder.

But other news troubles the Lazio coach. Hernanes has been called up for the Brazilian national team. The midfielder is expected for the games against Costa Rica on the 7th of October and the 11th against Mexico. After this he will take an intercontinental flight and will arrive only 3 days before the derby with Roma. This may be a concern for Reja, but Hernanes is happy: “The emotion is great and I’m really happy the invitation came now, because I’m going through a particular moment in my career. I hope this could make a turning point. I will give my all for Brazil” – added the midfielder.
