25/09/2011: Lotito: "We didn't take our chances"

In an interview with Mediaset Premium, Lotito rued missed chances, but said, that the team's quality will come out on top.

"I don't think that a draw is a bad result. However, we had three clear chances to score, but we didn't take them. Not always the quality of the team leads to goals. Their goalkeeper made four fantastic saves, then we didn't take a couple of chances."

The President then reminded that Lazio has a lot of injury problems, "We have five injured players so you have to take that into account", before adding, "Serie A is a very strong league, where anyone can beat anyone. For example, Atalanta, they have more points than anyone [Atalanta started the season with -5 points]."

Finally, Lotito thinks that his team can compete with everyone, "Our team can play equally with everyone. We showed that against AC Milan. With time our quality will come out on top".
