The dream of Djibril Cisse has now come true - the 30-year-old Lazio striker has been called up to French national team following injuries to star forwards Karim Benzema and Kevin Gameiro. Cisse now will fly to Paris and join up with the rest of his teammates.

France will play Euro 2012 qualifiers against Albania on October 7th and versus Bosnia on October 11th. Interestingly, he will have the opportunity to face his fellow Lazio teammates on both occasions - Lorik Cana is in Albania squad, while Senad Lulic will play for Bosnia.

Other Lazio players called up for international duty are: Miroslav Klose (Germany), Hernanes (Brazil), Stefan Radu (Romania) and Alvaro Gonzalez (Uruguay).
