As half of the city of Rome are still celebrating last night's Derby victory so is the German media whose favourite son was the match decider.

Miroslav Klose earned his place in history with his last gasp winner in the 93rd minute.

"Klose went straight into the heart of Lazio with a goal at the photo finish" wrote Kicker.de. "On his first Derby Miro made his mark, becoming the hero of the Derby".

Hamburger Andenblatt wrote: "Miro has led Lazio to victory against rivals AS Roma. A goal at '93 sent his fans into ecstasy and adore him now".

Sport1.de wrote: "Lazio, founded 111 years ago, the eldest daughter of Rome, won the match of the year thanks to the goal from Klose. The German striker showed his class".

Finally bz-Berlin.de wrote emphatically: "Hero! Klose gives a thrilling victory at Lazio. With a low shot in the 93rd minute, Miro concludes a dramatic ending and sends his team into third place".
