Cisse told French media: "The Rome Derby is hot, like what I played in Greece. I'm happy for the result. It was a victory we really wanted. It was quite a Derby, a nice atmosphere on either side. Playing with superior numbers, we managed to put our hands on the game and played better than the first half".

Cristian Brocchi: "Finally we have won the Derby and we did it deservedly. Our happiness for this performance and result is also directed to our coach, because much has been said of him this week with little respect and he deserved this victory. I was sorry to hear you all laugh at the joke Totti made."

About the penalty: "I knew Hernanes could give me a ball like that and I was able to attack space. The Giallorossi defender took my arm while I was racing forward and my fall was caused by a natural movement of the body. The team did an extraordinary performance. The individual does well when the team does well. The rankings? I do not care today, I'm happy to have won the Derby and silenced alot of people (Totti)".
