After seeing his team draw against Catania at Stadio Olimpico, president Claudio Lotito spoke to Mediaset: "We deserved a better result today, but we failed to score on all the chances we created. Unfortunately in football every match is different and today was not our day. Games like these are the ones you regret not winning at the end of the season. Today there was 5 of the regulars starters that was out injured, but the deputies did well. A draw here was not what we wanted, but in the end we can live with it."

Lotito also had a chat with Sky Sports aswell and gladly spoke about the success that his new players are having: "Miroslav Klose is a great striker. It gives me great satisfaction to have a true professional like him in the team. He is a true champion. The other acquisitions are also doing well and has been spot on purchases."

Since it looks like Stefano Mauri might miss the whole first half of the season Lotito was asked if he is already thinking about new players to bring in when the transfer window opens in january: "He is definitely important to the team, we will wait and see. January is still far away. We have Lulic who has been great. He is a great versatile player, and today he had another great performance"
