This round Lazio again played at home in Formello. The opponent Pescara had only picked up 8 points from the first 8 matches played. Right back Luis Cavanda was still out injured, and the striker Rozzi aswell failed to make the squad. Coach Bollini decided to give Emmanuel a chance up front with Ceccarelli and Barreto.

The match could not start out any better for Bollini's boys. After 13 minutes the score was already 3-0 to Lazio. The first one was scored by Emmanuel with a tap-in. The second goal was scored by the promising uruguayan striker Barreto, after a pass from Tommaso Ceccarelli. Then in the 13th minute Emmanuel is at the right place again to make it three.

This was the last goal of the first half, but it was after the break the real show started. In the 49th minute Pescara scored a goal, but after that it was all about Lazio. In the 52th minute Emmanuel get his hattrick after a header. Then Barreto makes it 5-1 to Lazio after a mistake from the goalkeeper. The Pescara goalkeeper only have 1 minute of rest before Lazio is awarded a penalty, and as ususaly Ceccarelli knows what to do, 6-1.

In the 61st minute Ceccarelli is there again on a rebound from a shot, and 15 minutes later Ceccarelli gets a hattrick aswell after scoring on a free kick. After seeing his two partners upfront scoring hattricks Barreto does not want to be any worse and after Cilfone passes the ball to him Barreto is also on three goals.

In stoppage time Ceccarelli gets his 4th, to make it 10-1 to Lazio. An amazing result by the young eagles!

Lineup:

LAZIO (4-3-3): Scarfagna; Serpieri, Crescenzi, Sbraga, Salustri (72' Ilari); Onazi (72' Cataldi), Cilfone, Zampa; Ceccarelli, Barreto, Emmanuel (60' Tira) Mosciatti, Fagioli, Pagni, Barluzzi)

Goals: 3’ Emmanuel, 5’ Barreto, 13’ Emmanuel, 52' Emmanuel, 55' Barreto, 56' Ceccarelli, 61' Ceccarelli, 77' Ceccarelli, 78' Barreto, 90' Ceccarelli

Unfortunately the result could not help the boys reach the top of the table. After winning 1-0 away against Crotone, Roma are still 1st with 23 points. The Lazio youngsters are just 1 point behind, with a better goal difference. Next saturday the team will travel to Nocerina who are currently on 6th place. Their form has been dreadfull lately, and have only picked up 2 points in the last five matches.
