The former keeper returned to Rome for Uruguay's friendly against the Azzuri which will be held on Tuesday evening.

Speaking to Sky Sport 24, Nando said: "I spent three wonderful years in Rome and it is exciting for me to come back here. I am not surprised Lazio are on top, the team is made of up great players who have big ambitions. I am very happy that Lazio is doing so well, especially for my friends whom I left there."
