Alvaro Gonzalez, now back in Rome to prepare for Uruguay's friendly against Italy on Olimpico on tuesday spoke to Calciomercato about the upcoming Serie A match against Napoli:

"The international on tuesday will be a beautiful challenge, between two countries with great traditition and history. For me it will be very nice to play here at Olimpico for my country. I have spoke to Muslera and he still has strong feeling for Lazio."

On saturday Gonzalez and Lazio will face another Uruguayan player, Edinson Cavani who was the centre of attention when Napoli beat Lazio last season at San Paolo, in a highly controversial match:

"I told Cavani that they stole the victory last season. It is a very important fixture for us. We will do everything to win, because we want to stay at the top as long as possible. The Scudetto? Maybe, we will see what happens."
